President’s Leadership Award for Diversity

As a co-Founder of the student organiation Women in STEM at the University of South Dakota, this award celebrates students leaders who seek to increase diversity on campus.

April 2017

Best Posterium Award

At SIAM CSE17 in Atlanta, I presented a poster on a material simulation project in which germanium crystals are optimized for best performance in dark matter detection.

February 2017

Travel Award to Broader Engagement

The Sustainable Horizons Institute offers travel grants and sponsorship for selected participants to attend the Broader Engagement program at the SIAM CSE17 conference.

M.S. in Chemistry

Thesis title: Properties and Processes in Porous Materials

August 2016

Certificate in Information Technology

Coursework included Information Retrieval and Database Systems, Web Development (Rich Internet Applications), and Software Engineering.

August 2016

National Science Foundation/IGERT Fellowship

This fellowship, supported by the National Science Foundation, provides a generous stipend and travel money for outstanding graduate students.

September 2015

B.S. in Chemistry

The chemistry program at the University of South Dakota is approved by ACS. Additional areas of focus were mathematics and biology.

August 2014

Dell-Intel O’Brien Award

This award is presented to the best submission by an undergraduate researcher at a national theoretical physics conference.
